Special Areas of Interest

Healthcare Professionals
I have a particular interest in supporting healthcare professionals experiencing stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. I understand the unique demands of working in healthcare and strive to provide a supportive, individualized approach to care.

Older Adults & Geriatric Mental Health
I am especially passionate about addressing the mental health needs of older adults, including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, adjustment to life changes, cognitive changes, and behavioral or emotional symptoms associated with aging and neurocognitive disorders. Care is individualized with consideration for the unique medical, social, and emotional needs of this population.

Improving Access to Mental Health Care
I am committed to reducing barriers to psychiatric care for individuals in underserved communities, including those experiencing homelessness, transportation difficulties, limited access to technology, or other challenges that interfere with consistent mental health treatment.
Through the KC Psychiatry Community Outreach Mission, an initiative of KC Psychiatry, LLC, I am working to develop partnerships with local shelters and community organizations to bring psychiatric services directly to individuals who may otherwise struggle to access traditional office-based or telehealth care. Outreach services may include psychiatric evaluations, medication management, ongoing treatment, and scheduled in-person visits at appropriate community locations.
My goal is to create a practical and compassionate approach to mental healthcare that meets individuals where they are and helps connect underserved members of our community with consistent psychiatric treatment.
Please stay tuned as the KC Psychiatry Community Outreach Mission (an initiative of KC Psychiatry, LLC) continues to grow and develop within our community.
Collaborative Care
KC Psychiatry, LLC and Breanne Finagan Counseling Services, LLC are independent healthcare practices that share a commitment to providing accessible, compassionate mental health care. The practices may collaborate, when appropriate and with patient authorization, to help support continuity and coordination of care.
Patients of either practice may be referred to the other when services offered by the other provider may be clinically appropriate or beneficial. Patients are under no obligation to accept such a referral and remain free to select any qualified healthcare provider of their choosing.
KC Psychiatry, LLC and Breanne Finagan Counseling Services, LLC are separate and independently owned legal entities. Neither practice owns, controls, employs, or acts as an agent of the other. Referrals between the practices are made based on patient needs and clinical appropriateness. No compensation, fee, commission, financial incentive, or other remuneration is paid or received in exchange for referrals between the practices.
Each practice is independently responsible for the services it provides, including its own clinical care, documentation, billing, privacy practices, policies, and professional obligations.
